Use Bluefin from your AI assistant
If you use Claude or another AI assistant that supports MCP (the Model Context Protocol), you can connect it to your Bluefin account and ask about your results in plain language: “What did people say about me this week?”, “Is anyone on YouTube using my name?”. The assistant reads the same results you see in the dashboard, with a link to every source.
Connect
The server address is https://bluefin-app.com/mcp. The first time you connect, your assistant opens Bluefin’s sign-in in your browser. Sign in the way you normally do (email, Google or Apple), check what the app is asking for, and choose Allow.
- Claude Code: run
claude mcp add --transport http bluefin https://bluefin-app.com/mcp, then open/mcpinside Claude Code and choose Bluefin to sign in. - Claude (web and desktop): if your Claude plan offers custom connectors, add one with the address above.
- Other MCP apps: add
https://bluefin-app.com/mcpas a remote server (Streamable HTTP). Bluefin uses standard MCP sign-in; there is no key to copy.
What your assistant can do
- Read your recent mentions (title, source, link, date, sentiment and a short reason), possible impersonation on YouTube, how images connected to you are being used, and, on Agency, a brief across your roster.
- Record your decisions, only when you ask: mark a possible impersonation as a concern or not, or mark a channel Bluefin listed as your own. These are the same two buttons you have in the dashboard.
It can’t change your plan or settings, add or remove creators, start a scan, or contact, report or accuse anyone. Results come from Bluefin’s last scheduled scan; asking again doesn’t start a new one.
Possible impersonation is always shown as a proposal for you to review, never as a finding. Bluefin tells your assistant not to call any account fake.
Plans
Connecting is part of Pro and Agency. On Free you can sign in and see what the tools do, and your assistant will tell you the results need a paid plan.
Privacy and disconnecting
An assistant only gets access after you sign in and allow it, and only to the creators on your own account. What it reads is sent to that assistant’s provider (for example Anthropic, for Claude) and handled under their terms. See our privacy policy.
To disconnect, open Manage my data in the dashboard footer and choose Disconnect next to the app. Its access stops within about a minute. Deleting your Bluefin account disconnects every app too.
