1. What Bluefin is

Bluefin monitors public mentions of a name you register (news, YouTube, and other public sources listed in our Privacy Policy) and sends you a summary. It also checks YouTube for channels that appear to use your name. Bluefin is an information service: it does not take action against anyone, and nothing it shows is an accusation.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 and provide an email address you control.
The Free tier lets you monitor one identity — your own. Do not register a name you are not entitled to monitor.
You are responsible for keeping your password safe. You can reset it from the login screen.

3. What we show you, and its limits

Mentions, sentiment, and "impersonation" flags are produced by automated analysis and can be wrong. Every impersonation flag is a proposal for your review, never a finding.
Impersonation checks cover YouTube channels only. We do not scan Instagram, TikTok, or X.
Coverage depends on public sources being available. A quiet report means we found nothing in the sources we read — not that nothing exists.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use Bluefin to harass, stalk, or surveil any person; to monitor someone without a legitimate interest; or to automate access to the service beyond your own account. We rate-limit and may suspend accounts that do.

5. Email

By creating an account you agree to receive a daily monitoring email and occasional alerts. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops email but keeps your account and dashboard.

6. Ending your account

You can ask us to delete your account and all data we hold about you at any time by emailing the address in the Privacy Policy. Deletion is complete within 30 days.

7. Free tier and changes

The Free tier is provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn with notice. Paid tiers, when offered, will have their own terms.

8. No warranty; liability

Bluefin is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you make based on what Bluefin shows you, or for indirect or consequential damages.
